This seems too good to be true! Our snow is melting with high temp. in the low 60s today!! However, we can't be fooled. Winter is not over yet!! This is just a break of the ice and snow. Feels like Florida to us!
Das scheint zu gut um wahr zu sein! Unser Schnee ist maechtig am Schmelzen mit Temp. um die 18 Gr. C. ! Aber wir lassen uns nicht taeuschen. Der Winter ist noch nicht vorbei! Das ist nur mal eine Pause von dem Eis u Schnee. Es fuehlt sich an als waeren wir in Florida !!

It is a fine photograph and looks almost like a raging river. It is going to set records for warmth here where I live today also. And already the snow has melted. All six inches of it. I also know that the cold front that will eventually replace this warm one will come in like a lion, roaring and blowing down lots of things and we will be lucky if we do not get a tornado.
Hang in there. Winter is coming back.

Das ist ja Wahnsinn, 18 Grad!!!! Ich dachte schon, hier wäre es jetzt (auf die Jahreszeit bezogen) warm mit 10 Grad. Aber sicherlich wird es bei Euch auch schon bald wieder kälter!

Beautiful photo. We had lows in the teens last week. That is very cold for Georgia. This week we are in the 70's. Oh! it was great. I also took pictures at my little rock creek today, but I didn't have any snow or ice. I sure like to see it from a distance though.Have a great day.
January thaw is what it is usually referred to. It was so warm today that I wore a spring jacket and was quite comfy. I really hate how dirty and ugly the snow looks along the roads.
