This is our dog Abby. She is still battling kennel cough. She is done with her antibiotics and still coughs. She did get this, although she was immunized against it. ..Is there anybody out there who knows how long that can take?
Abby's owners also have colds (in case anybody is interested!!)

What's the sense of being immunized against something if you can still get it? Are you sure it's kennel cough? I hope she feels better soon.

We went to the vet twice and he says it is kennel cough and that they can get it even though they got immunized. It happens....

My other dog who is not alive anymore got a cough once, it took about a week.Its distressing to hear them cough specially at night.

Poor Abby....I've been down with a nasty cold for a couple of days too!! I've been drinking a lot of OJ. but Abby probably wouldn't like that!

Impfen bringt halt leider auch nicht immer was. Ich hab mal gehört, wenn man dann den Infekt doch bekommt, kann er sogar schlimmer sein bzw. länger andauern als wenn man nicht dagegen geimpft ist. Aber ob das stimmt....keine Ahnung
