The title is a German saying, meaning "Yesterday's Snow", meaning whatever we talk about is in the past.
Well, this here, is really "Schnee von gestern". It is actually from Wednesday, but today it is very mild and the snow is melting. It will take a while before all is gone, because we have a lot of it, but right now it is already very soft and dirty in the pasture.

Yesterday's snow - that is a simple phrase that packs a lot of meaning. I shall remember it and use it soon, I think, when I talk about how things that seemed so huge now are gone and forgotten.
Makes a philosophical post for the begining of the yerar. Many things which happened in the past are like yesterday 's snow.
Yeah, that's for sure, it's REALLY soft and dirty. That's why, even if it's cold, I like it when it's under 32 degrees, because we don't have to deal with melting snow. Well, very pretty picture! LOVE the blue sky!
Yesterday snow...and yesterdays words....gone forever, but the effects are not.
What a lovely deep saying!!:)
this makes me shiver!
Looks very cold... brrrr!
The snow on the trees is so lovely. When you enlarge the photo it looks like it is sparkling in the light. How pretty! Happy New Year!
I like that saying too.
