Mourning Dove - Trauertaube

This dove came only one time to our feeder. When I took the photo I thought already that I would show it today, because one year ago today our dear friend and brother-in-law Volker (39) went to heaven.
Let us find comfort in God's Word:

" God will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4

Offenbarung 21:4

Volker - unvergessen.

Possibly your BIL came to visit today. How nice that you remember him. He is happy about this.

Your house has to be very welcoming, because you always full of animals to come.

That is sad, I am sorry to hear about your loss.

My Grandad loved birds and at his funeral whilst the music was playing we all looked out to see a big red kite which I think is a bird of prey floating on the breeze over the Valley in Wales where he was being buried. We thought it was him saying, I am okay.

Absolutely... comfort is in God's Word, and I'm so glad you know that.

Oh how lovely that the dove of peace would visit you at such a special time of memory! If God sees a sparrow fall, then He could sure send a dove of comfort.
