Curiosity kills the Cat?

Thankfully, Groenemeyer did not get killed last week! I saw him way up in the tree and grabbed the camera, then sure enough, he wandered onto a loose branch and fell....down .... down... down... and - walked away, while his sister watched him from a secure place on the ground!

Well, here where I live, the old saying is that a cat has 9 lives. So he just lost one of those. Now he has 8. Nice photograph. Love the bottom picture.

The second photo (the cat under the robe? ;O)) is magnificent, it is lovely, a real postcard.
I think that cats are just too curious and that it can kill them.

The place in which you live looks as if it is out of a storybook. Lovely!

I guess cats are supposed to always land on their feet! That's quite an action shot and the one of the other cat looking on is just adorable!

I suppose daring is what gets many squirrels killed as well. Imagine walking a tightrope over the road everyday while cars speed by beneath.

I'm glad Groenemeyer had a safe landing. Maybe his sister has learned something from the experience as well. We can always hope.

The photos tell a great story.

I've heard of cats who liked to jump off second story roofs (they lived in the mountains so the roof was close to the ground on one side and 2 stories off the ground on the other) and pretend they were sailing. They tried to stop her, but cats are good at relaxing and taking falls well. Thanks heavens!

Tolle Bilder!

I love the second picture of the more timid sister watching that daring brother of hers!
