This morning my husband had help letting the chickens out and feeding them with corn on the cob from last night!! The last photo shows how the chickens come storming out once the ladder door is opened! They can't wait every morning to come out into the grass!
Heute Morgen hatte meine Mann Hilfe, als er die Huehner raus liess und mit Maiskolben von gestern Abend fuetterte! Das letzte Foto zeigt, wie die Huehner rausgestuermt kommen, sowie die Leitertuer runtergelassen wird~ Sie koennen es kaum erwarten in das Gras zu kommen!

That is so cute! Tobias loves it here, you can tell. With the horse, and the chickens (and the XBOX) he never runs out of things to do!!

Ein sehr seltener Anblick,glückliche Hühner!
Horst seine Mutter hat auch 12 davon auf einem riesen Gelände,das wahre Hühnerparadies:-) ansonsten wüsste ich keine.Und die Eier was sind die herrlich,zum backen,kochen oder essen.
Die Hühner kennen mich schon,sobald ich auftauche kommen sie angerast,grins.Bring ihnen auch immer was gutes mit.
Du mußt wahsinnig glücklich sein in so einem wunderbaren Paradies zu leben,mit all den Tieren und der Natur.

Very nice series of pictures of your husband, son and chickens. I like the chickens. Did you know they eat a lot of bugs? My mom used to let them into her vegetable garden so they would eat the insects. Ducks do the same as do geese. And if you feed your chickens some green onion tops, when they begin laying eggs, your eggs will taste like onions.

Hallo Gudl, das ist ja genau das, was sich mein Mann vor einem Vierteljahrhundert für uns beide gewünscht hat. So ein schönes Haus, Natur rundherum und viele Tiere. Leider ist in Good Old Germany der Platz nicht so weitläufig. Wir wohnen zwar ländlich, aber nicht so schön wie Du. Man merkt an den Bildern, daß Du mit Dir und Deinem Umfeld im Reinen bist. Schöner Blog,ich besuche Dich bald wieder.
