Yesterday and today we had very hot summer weather (around 90) and we went to the beach both days! Fun in the sun and sand.... how nice! Too bad that summer will come to an end soon. School will start again in exactly one week! Hopefully we can get a few more beach days in!!
Gestern u auch heute war sommerlich heiss hier u wir waren am Strand. Spass am See in der Sonne u im Sand... wie schoen! Schade, dass der Sommer sich nun dem Ende zu neigt. In genau einer Woche faengt die Schule wieder an! Hoffentlich koennen wir vorher noch paar mal an den Stand gehen.

We are having a hot summer too. Our school starts on the 24th of September and I do not want it to come, I love having the kids home with me and this year it is even more sad for me because my little boy can start kindergarden :(
My youngest started her senior year Aug. 14, but my niece's boy in St. Louis started Kindergarten in July! Guess they have "year round" school there. I'm curious to find out when they have breaks and how long they are.

Our schools have started and all of our grandchildren are in school now, including our grandson Noah. He is starting in the third grade.

I don't want school to start. I really like the beach! That's a nice picture of the seagull, the red bucket really brings it out. So colorful.
Wie herrlich sich an den Strand zu legen, ich war kein einziges Mal disen Sommer am Strand...immer was andres zu tun.
Ever since I can remember the first day of school was the Wednesday after Labor Day. We may start a bit later than the schools in the south but we don't get out until well into June.
Who's the naked beach bum? Oh wait he's wearing a bucket!
