Rheinblick

Our trip to Germany was partly a business trip, because we did research for our upcoming German Restaurant "Rheinblick". By chance we found a place that had the same name. It means "View of the Rhine".
On the third photo you see the famous "Lorelei"-Rock. Legend has it that a beautiful young girl was sitting on top of it, combing her long, blond hair and all the sailors riding on the river got distracted and crashed into the rocks that are hidden in the water. It was prophesied that one thousand years later she would return in a black BMW to finish the work she had begun! Haha. We had fun.

What a great shot of you! I had heard the lorelei story before but I didn't know that the rock was in Germany. How cool too that you found another Rheinblick. I'm sure yours will be even better!
