Cats Play

The other morning I happened to see how our outside barn cat, Groenemeyer, tried to get the attention and affection of our inside cat Freckles. The two have never really met and Freckles (on the right) was not impressed at all by his slow movements towards her, inch by inch. In fact she hissed at him! Bummer. He is such a lover, but she just left...

Hi Gudl,

I have finally had a chance to look at your blog. I enjoyed all the photos. Thank you for giving us a little taste of your trip to Germany.

I love the flowers on your deck.

Your cats have a good life! It looks like they were having a standoff in the first photo. How cute!

Wow! Aren't cats a lot like people or vice versa. We hiss when we need love and wonder why we are alone. So good to be back in blogland a bit.

Cats, in general, tend to be quite territorial and don't like to share their space with others. Our mama cat doesn't even like sharing a house with her own daughter. They do put on an amusing display of displeasure sometimes.

What fun pictures, and darling cats. I so miss having cats, but several of the grandchildren are allergic.

But this morning Don saw a cat laying in my lounge chair ~~ probably one of my neighbors "The Cat Lady". I don't mind.
