Our Happy Hens

The first picture is a drawing made by Wanda of our hens! Isn't it great? Thank you, Wanda, I feel honored!
Last weekend my husband moved the chicken coop to the top of our hill across from the house. After all, it is a 'moveable chicken coop'. The chickens are very happy there! They spent the winter behind the garage, but it was too shady there.

Wow, up on the hill has a lot more grass ~~ in the picture I used, it looked more like gravel.

Thanks for posting it Gudl, that was sweet of you.

Wanda did a very nice job with those chickens.

I wouldn't mind having some chickens, but I think my husband is a bit more into collecting logs and lumber than animals.

You are so lucky to have chickens and a coupe that can be moved. I like the watercolor drawing that Wanda made too.

We got some free range eggs from the lady who works at the grain elevator and the yokes are almost dark orange color. Seems to be more healthy than those you buy at the store.
