Glorious Summer Day....
... finally! Because lately we had some chilly days and lots of rain! But yesterday was gorgeous and since we have a German visitor we went to the lake. The water, however, is still very cold, because our lake is very deep.
Gestern war endlich mal ein herrlicher Sommertag. Und da wir einen deutschen Besucher haben, sind wir zum See. Das Wasser ist allerdings noch sehr kalt, da der See sehr tief ist u Zeit braucht um aufzuwaermen.

Hallo Monika,
ja, der See ist ca. 5 Min. von hier (mit dem Auto) Unsere Stadt liegt an einem der Finger Lakes.
Wir haben ein Apt. am See, das wir im Sommer als Ferienwohnung vermieten, aber auch selbst benutzen. Das ist 10 Min. von hier, u dort sind die Aufnahmen gemacht.

the water was freezing and our legs went numb after about 10 seconds.
