Spring Walk in the Sun

Yesterday I went for a walk in the woods and it was wonderful! I can't describe how awesome it felt to walk in the quiet woods, the sun shining on everything, the birds singing, little tiny plants growing. I felt so alive and thankful for new life and for life itself. I really think because our winters are so long, spring is so much more precious. The feeling of being was so intense on that particular walk yesterday. Do you know what I mean?

Loup y es-tu ?
Que fais-tu ?
Entends-tu ?"

"We walk in the woods
While the wolf is not
If the wolf there was
We eat,
But since there is no
We eat it.
Loup there are you?
What are you doing?
Hear you?"

I can definitely relate. We appreciate the spring all the more when the winters are long and cold. It looks like it was a glorious day there! Thanks for taking us along on your walk!

I know exactly what you mean Gudl..as a child we lived in Pennsylvania..long snowy winters...I always had the same feelings as I walked and explored the woods near our home...it was as though we had a completely new world..enjoy...the transformation is going to be breathtaking! :) Dee Dee

My hubby and I went for a nice orchard walk last night after supper. I must do this more often!

We have bears coming out of hibernation now. They are so hungry. Watch where you walk in the woods. But they mostly try not to bother people!

What beautiful pictures-the trees are bare, yet the fir trees make the woods look bright and cheery. Nice pictures...I love spring............and Ft. Lauderdale! :D

Yes. I know what you mean. When the warm season is so short, it's so important to embrace it, feel it, breathe it, and become a part of it.

You are doing all of that. Good for you.
