Foehn Weather in the Little Forest

These photos are from yesterday. The temperatures were in the mid 60s and the snow all around us was melting like crazy! Our little creek was once again like a river! And very loud! I wish you could hear it.
It was definitely an April day! We had sun, clouds, wind, rain. Just the snow was missing ;-)
On the last picture you see our house in the background.

This is the first time we can see the ground in your photos! It was spring-like here yesterday. The air smelled so fresh!

How beautiful Gudl...so reminds me of where I grew up in Pennsylvania...we lived in the country..the valley in front of our home had a creek...at the end of our road was a bridge..the water was deeper so the deer would come there of a morning to drink...I remember the sound as the winter ice would melt..Thanks for a lovely reminder..Dee Dee

Beautiful winter landscape. J'aimerai well go for a ride with this snow.

I'm glad to see your post from the last couple of days. We have no more snow in town...just mud. Of course you know that already from driving in from time to time.
