Yesterday morning I watched the pelicans fish right in front of me at the beach.

Welcome to my Blog! Thanks for stopping by! I would like to show my friends and family the beautiful world around me. I was born in Germany but live in Upstate New York for 19 years now. I love it!

They don't even know they are working to survive. The ocean has never failed to provide them their meals. But are we approaching a time when the oceans will die and not be safe for wildlife. It worries me.
The Pelicans are an interesting bird...They make a incredibly loud splash when they dive for fish...they are made so amazingly perfect for just such a dive as well...My husband rescued one a while back...he had a fishing hook in his mouth. He put up quite a fight...but in the end...the hook was removed...poor ole fellow :)
Have fun!
FUN FUN! We love to watch them do that at our beaches too - sounds like you are having a nice relaxing time...that is good.
You got some great shots!
Wow..tolle Aufnahme...Sie saehen nicht, sie ernten nicht....what a blessing!Viel Spass noch.
Was für tolle Schnappschüsse!!!!
