Update on our 10 Chickens

Some people ask us how the chickens are doing. Well...they are fine. They found their winter spot behind our garage in a fenced in area. They don't like to walk on the snow, so my husband throws them some old hay now and then to come out of their coop a bit. They still lay about 4-5 eggs per day.
Notice the icicles at their coop roof line!

I do not know why, but as soon as I saw the photographs with the chickens I laughed.
Perhaps I observed their embarrassment, or because they look at they find that is the earth.
Personally these photographs I like.

Your chickens are getting big! I wouldn't want to walk on the snow either if I was a chicken. Thanks for the update!!

That was nice of your husband...
Well, your chickens must be happy to be laying that many eggs still.
