Daisy-Mae in the Snow

Over night we got new snow!
Daisy-Mae doesn't seem to mind. In fact, she is pretty spunky these days. Ueber Nacht haben wir Neuschnee bekommen. Daisy-Mae macht das nichts aus. Sie ist sogar sehr lebhaft darin.

Hi Gudl, Thanks for visiting my blog I will come by yours and get to know you.

I learnt German in High school and got a prize for reading and pronunciation. Sister JoAnna from Germany was our teacher.I 've had German teachers in the convent school where i studied.

Maybe i can brush up some of my Deutch as I read your blog. My vocab is very limited tho.

My friend Tigi is married to a very nice girl from Germany, Astrid and they live in Siliguri a hill town in N Undia, they have 3 boys. When they lived in my city they were frequent visitors.

God bless Gudl.I would like to know how you pronounce your name.

I love her furry winter coat. She's such a beautiful horse! This is a lovely photo of her and the snowy woods.

We had rain last night. Our snow is mostly washed away. Sure looks pretty in the forest!

Your house in the woods is so much like ours :-9
We don't have a horse though.

Is she expecting? Or is that a little winter fat? Nice horse in the snow and I see she is happy eating some hay.

Gudl said...

Abraham, she is 'just' fat. Indeed, we give her more hay now, so that she can fight the cold better. I hear that is what you are supposed to do.

I always knew that somewhere in the world those feeders were useful. Bears used to bother our when we live near the National Forest-okay on the border of the National Forest, but in the winter the buntings and hatches seemed to enjoy them. And the jays and the squirrels. Horse looks happy and has fresh hay, what's to worry, right?

She's so nice right now, with her fuzzy coat and the snow on her all the time. Cute picture! I love my little mare.....:-)
