Wet Dog

Towards the end of last week Abby rolled in something that smelled very badly. Yuck. She needed to have a bath! Luckily our daughter is good at taking care of all animals. Here you see her outside (in light snow) bathing her with warm water that I handed her in soda bottles!! Well...you have to do what you have to do!!
Colaflaschen gereicht. Tja, was kann man halt machen!!

Brrrr! Reminds me of camping in October years ago. The showers were rigged to turn off if you let go of the string and there was no way to wash and hold the string too. The cold wind would blow in the upper windows and we would freeze! That was one shower I'll never forget! Poor Abby, I hope she learned her lesson.

How cute! You take such good care of all of your animals. They are lucky to have such a good home!

Before I had a dog (a cocker) for the wash was to be put to four, otherwise it was totally impossible ;o)

I love that photo, it's full of interest and story and colour. Great.

That's good that it was warm water! It would have sucked if it was cold!

Hat Abby denn still gehalten?

Brrr! She looks cold, but cute! I hope she learned her lesson too, but she probably just wondered why Melissa washed all her lovely perfume off.

Woof!

My dog hates having a bath, it's the getting undressed he does not like!

i am off to bed now, goodnight over there!

Yup, she definitely needed that bath! She hates bathes, though. When we first got her she flipped out at the water. She still hates them, but it's not as bad....
My toes were cold, I'll say that! :-)

Sherman had a bath for the exact same reason a few nights ago.

Poor doggy, I'll bet that was a cold ordeal. That's good of your girl to do that, I doubt I could have gotten mine to do that.
