The last couple of days we are seeing more color in the little forest! But this picture I took at the beg. of the week when it was mostly green still. Many leaves fell down already and the woods are not so dense anymore. I love this 'new look'.

In den letzten Tagen sehen wir nun mehr Farbe hier im kleinen Wald! Allerdings habe ich diese Aufnahme Anf. der Woche gemacht, als es noch ueberwiegend gruen war. Es sind aber schon viele Blaetter gefallen u deshalb ist der Wald nicht mehr so dicht. Mir gefaellt dieser neue "Look". Vergroessert das Foto um die ganze Schoenheit zu sehen.

You'll see lots and lots more as the days go by. The woods will become much less mysterious as the leaves fall and carpet the little forest floor. Oh boy, it's a wonderful time to walk and kick through the piles of red and gold.
We hope to have up to an inch of accumulation by tomorrow! Our first measureable snow down here! Oh, I hope so! I love the winter too!

Toll! Im Herbst ist der Wald wirklich am schönsten.
Hier hat der Herbst nun begonnen, nur noch 7 Grad (in der Stadt!)und heute morgen regnet es. So richtiges Wetter zum drin bleiben...
Sagt man das wirklich bei Euch mit den european-styled Blumensträußen?
Ich habe einmal versucht,in NY für meine Freundin einen "normalen" Strauß Blumen zu kaufen, aber irgendwie war ich von den Blumenläden enttäuscht, aber habe mir keine Gedanken drum gemacht. Wahrscheinlich gibt es diese Sträuße wie bei uns dort gar nicht, sondern entweder nur die abgepackten in Plastikfolie oder ganz auf edel gestylte?

diese europaischen Straeusse sind nun mehr u mehr am kommen. Solche Blumenlaeden wie in Germany gibt es hier kaum, es ist halt anders hier. Leute kennen es nicht, also vermissen sie es auch nicht. Leider sind Blumen hier auch sehr teuer!Viele Gruesse in die Heimat!
