No School Today ...

...because of ice rain during the night and a little snow in the morning. Here you see the ice and snow on a hay bale outside and on our little wall next to the house.

We also had rain, lots of rain, that froze on everything and made a mess. Many tree limbs broke under the added weight of ice -- where my daughter lives -- they were without electric power for a long time.

when I not one (behind ma natal Dordogne) what what moment it that I preferred " no school causes him some snow " ;o) I hope that you do not have had too much damage

The only reason they closed school in our area was for dense tooly fog --the kind that hangs low on the road - you can see NOTHING!!

I really like the pictures of the ice and snow ~~ nice to look at but cold brrrrr!

It was icy here today too. Not quite that bad, but I slipped and fell for the first time this year.
