The other day when I drove down the driveway I saw this deer and for once I had my camera in the car! We have a lot of deer in our woods and right now we see a lot of babies, too, but unfortunately not with this one.
Kuerzlich, als ich die Einfahrt runter fuhr, sah ich dieses Reh und hatte sogar mal meine Kamera dabei! Wir haben viele Rehe in unserem Wald und zur Zeit sehen wir auch viele Bambis, aber leider nicht mit diesem.

It is good to have your camera, you never know what you will come across.

Once in a great while we see deer but they are usually in the process of running across the road. Orchards make a great place for them to hide. I'm sure if it weren't for the drainage ditch they would probably eat up my blueberries.

Ihr scheint ja wirklich mitten im Wald zu wohnen. Ist doch toll,wenn man die Natur direkt vor der Türe hat.

Das ist ja toll. Das Reh scheint gar nicht scheu zu sein. Bei uns kann ich mich höchstens bis auf 100 m nähern, dann reißen sie aus.
Muss mir zum Fotografieren schon ein Tele mitnehmen, um es einigermaßen ablichten zu können.

Hallo Wolfgang! Ich habe auch ein Tele an meiner Kamera benutzt. Ich denke mal ich war aber bisschen naeher dran als 100 m. Es waren vielleicht 50.
