Wild Strawberries in the Little Forest

die haben wir auch zu Hauf hier in unserem alten Garten, und sogar Johanna (!) hat sich mal die eine oder andere einverleibt. Aber die dankbarste dafür war Elvira, unsere Schildkröte. Ich habe ihr mal eine vor ihr Mäulchen gelegt, die war mit zwei, drei Bissen weg. Da hat sie gleich noch ein paar bekommen. Haben ihr sichtlich geschmeckt!

Cute strawberry! Did I tell you that we have a German girl staying with us at the moment and I am glad that her English is better than my german!

There are some in my garden as well. I think they're rather romantic looking. But mine don't live up the the "tiny but sweet" words of Martha. Tiny yes, not too sweet.

I have them in my garden too, infact they are trying to take over. The kids like to pick them and eat them.

OH yum! we have wild patches of strawberries in our local forests too... the squirrels hord them all :)
