Haben wir auch gerade in grosser Fülle,war heute pflücken.
Friere sie ein und wenn ich genug beisammen habe mache ich Gelee drauss.
Sonntag gehen wir mal in die Heidelbeeren,gibt es hier im Odenwald viele.Mühsam aber es lohnt sich.
I can almost taste them! May have to see if the raspberries are ripe at my sister-in-law's house, and try again to get some started here.

Lucky You!! Fresh hand picked berries, and you know they are with out pesticides or chemicals!!
Yum-O! In the country, by the railroad track, there is a wild berry bush that grows. For years, we go, with buckets in tow, and pick til our hearts desire! We freeze some, eat some and bake some!

Yummy. My mom used to make cobbler from berries we would pick.
Als Kinder haben wir immer im Wald Himbeeren und Brombeeren gepflückt. Aus den Himbeeren stellte die Großmutter immer wunderbaren Saft mittels Zitronensäure her. Alles ohne zu kochen - kaltgerührt. Der wurde dann mit Wasser verdünnt getrunken. Schmeckte das!!
Ich habe auch gerade diese Woche meiner Tochter erzaehlt, dass meine Oma immer aus Himbeeren Saft fuer uns gemacht hat (u fuer sich).
