At the Fairgrounds - Part I

Here you see our daughter with her horse Daisy-Mae at the 4H-Evaluations on Wednesday. She had to ride 'walk, trott, canter' - western style - for the judge and got evaluated. Afterwards the judge gave her a few tips. Doesn't Daisy-Mae look nice? She got a bath beforehand and was all 'pretty'.
Happy 4th of July to everybody!!

It is nice to see your daughter with Daisy Mae out and about at the fairgrounds. We got to wait until the middle of August for our county fairs to begin. I suppose we will go again this year.

Nice photograph.

Oh, did this bring back memories. Spot and I tied really for Grand and Reserve Grand Champ for this event with 4-H horses. Wow! That was back when I was 14 and had to leave my horse and the farm. What a ride down memory lane. Thanks for that. Daisy Mae looks great!

That does look like fun.

Hannah is not going to the barn anymore. (Too complicated.) Maybe I will have to find her a new place to ride. We'll see...

Wow ~~ entering a painting at the county faire is so much easier.

But then you have an extraordinary daughter and she had a special horse.

Hope she wins what ever she enters.
