We had a wonderful weekend! These photos were taken yesterday. Today is also very nice and it is supposed to be like that for a while. We are all enjoying the Little Forest very much! No school today....it feels good to relax and take it slow!

Fast aber nur fast sind bei uns im Odenwald auch die Bäume,Blätter verfärbt.Wenn die Sonne scheint sieht es einfach wunderschön aus.Gestern unternahmen wir eine Fahrt durch den tiefsten Odenwald und sahen manchen bunten Wald,was ein schönes Erlebnis.

Ich liebe den Indian Summer in den USA. Vor einigen Jahren war ich Anfang/ Mitte Oktober in N.Y. und habe einen Tagesausflug den Hudson hoch nach Cold Spring gemacht. Dort sahen die Bäume auch so herrlich aus wie auf Deinen Bildern. Hier ist der Herbst zwar auch schön, wenn das Wetter schön ist, aber ich glaube, es gibt nichts, was den Indian Summer bei Euch toppen kann!

Ah, fall in all its glory. I love living in a place with distinct seasons. I don't know what I'd do without the changing leaves in the fall. Your shots are lovely!
Pretty colors. I wish I had more time to take a drive in the Finger Lakes, but with feeling ill and babysitting I haven't had a chance. Soon the colors will blow away until next year...
