I can only say a four letter word: SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! About 2 inches of wet white sticky stuff. I am annoyed!! That is too early, the trees are still having leaves. I hope it will be gone by afternoon, as the forecast predicts. We surely live in the 'higher elevations'.
Das ist ein Foto von vorgestern. Ich weigere mich zu zeigen wie es heute hier aussieht. SCHNEE!! Ca. 4 cm von der nassen, klebrigen, weissen Art. Das gefaellt mir nicht. Das ist zu frueh, die Blaetter sind nicht mal alle gefallen. Ich hoffe, es ist bis zum Nachmittag alles weggetaut, wie vorhergesagt. Wir leben hier wirklich hoeher gelegen.

I thought about you when the forecast said snow in the higher elevations, but I hoped it wouldn't really happen. I'm glad Rachel and I took our ride on Saturday.

The snow is melting! But we still have the MOST of all around us. That's because we live on top of a hill.

I'm a California Wimp.... Lived here all my life.
You tree is so beautiful and I would MUCH rather see it than SNOW. Like Wanda, I'm a wimpy Californian! Temps in the 90's today. I lived in Toronto for 8 years and St. Paul for 5 years and I have seen all the snow I want to see.
LOL! We already had our snow here in New Mexico several weeks ago! lol
And now we have a pretty Indian Summer to enjoy.

Oh, lovely. I went to the park yesterday hoping to find some leaves in that color, but ... nothing. Everything is turning yelllow and brown, but I couldn't find any orange or red. Thanks for giving me a fix of fall foliage. Keep it coming!
