That's where we were this weekend! It was another successful Oktoberfest and everybody had fun.(My sister is the owner of the restaurant and we went there to help)Hier waren wir also dieses Wochenende! Es war wieder ein erfolgreiches Fest und alle hatten Spass.

Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass bei Euch die Stimmung besser und ehrlicher war als in München, denn irgendwie ist das Oktoberfest ja nur noch Kommerz und gesehenwerdenwollen.
Ich glaube, das Original findet aber auch schon im September statt, GG meinte gerade, es würde nächste Woche anfangen.
Gabs bei Euch im Lokal auch schon eine Rheingauer Weinwoche mit Spundekäs und Rieslingsüppchen???? :)

ja, da waren Leute die sogar gesagt haben, dass es schoener war als in Muenchen!!
Ja, es gab lauter typische deutsche Gerichte u Oktoberfestbier (dunkel) u ein helles Bier. Ausserdem auch Bretzel u Apfelstrudel....
Ein Weinfest haben wir (noch) nicht. Kommt vielleicht noch!! Ist halt alles viel Arbeit.

Yes, the big Oktoberfest in Muenchen starts towards end of Sept. and ends beg. of Oct.
