Mushrooms in the Little Forest

We don't have many of them, but sometimes I come across an interesting species.
As always, I have no clue what the name is and in general I just assume they are poisonous and we leave them be.

I think that's a good idea to leave them be. I'd be nervous to eat mushrooms from the forest. They are pretty to look at though!

Good assumption. I would never pick and eat any...although my father knows of one species that is edible and he has found it, picked it and eaten it. It always makes me nervous when I hear of him doing that...but he's 75 and still kickin'!

I can almost see the little people living under there.

For some reason, we do get a lot. They just pop up in my yard. Must be because we have so many trees.

Such a lovey goldenrod color. Nice pic even if you can't eat.

90% of all wild mushrooms ARE poisonious, I learned that on Man vs. Wild.

BEAUTIFUL pic... like out of a book!

Amazing colors though, and I would have left them too. It's too easy to buy safe ones in the store.
