Here you can see the flares that the people put up all along the lake shore at 9 pm. They form the 'ring of fire'.Hier sieht man die Flackeln die um 9 Uhr rund um den See angezuendet werden. Sie bilden den 'Feuerring'.

This is a festive way to end a season. Pretty soon you can put some candles inside carved pumpkins and then later some lights on a tree. Light does help us get through the dark times.

Sieht interessant aus, Euer Feuerring. Aber es ist schon schade, dass der Sommer schon wieder rum ist, oder? Ich hoffe ja immer noch auf einen sonnigen, milden Herbst, aber dieses Jahr ist ja alles anders...
