When she was little she was peach colored and that's why we named this 'Red Sex-link' chicken "Peaches". She was the first to lay eggs - brown ones.
Darf ich vorstellen: "Peaches" (Pfirsich). Als sie klein war war sie pfirsichfarben u deshalb nennen wir dieses "Red -Sex-link" (das ist die Rasse) so. Sie hat als erste Eier gelegt u zwar braune.

Looks like a hen my mother had that laid brown eggs. How nice it must be to have fresh farm eggs. I'll take two sunny side up.
