No, just kidding. That is the dog of a good friend of mine who came to visit today with "Ruby", a Newfoundland :-)
Ist das ein Baer bei uns im kleinen Wald? Nein, das war ein Witz. Das ist der Hund einer guten Freundin von mir, die heute zu Besuch kam mit "Ruby", ein Neufundlaender.

That does look like a bear at first glance! I was just reading in the newspaper the other day about bear being spotted in our area.
