The ice on the lake is melting, but this flock of birds still found room to rest on it. What kind of birds are these anyway? Are these canandian geese? They look like birds here....

yes those are canadian geese.
we have them here all the time, they are actually quite a bother.
but they are geese nun the less.

I think the geese are beautiful! Especially with the lake and sky as a backround!
No way!!! I took pictures of the same thing and was going to post mine tomorrow.
They are different, so I'm still going to.
We have a few families of Canada geese that stay for the summer on the pond up the road. They'd like to move in here too if the pond was permanent.
I don't know what they are, but I'm sure glad I'm not with them --- that looks miserable. :)
