Unsere Rehe - Our Deer ;-)

Yesterday while I was sitting at the table my husband told me to look out of the window and this is what I saw! It happens frequently that we see deer in our forest, but in the snow they are easier to detect. This time it was a family of three. Can you see them?

Yes, they are beautiful. Once in a great while we will see some deer too, sometimes some turkeys, but mostly squirrels.
And, now that I know that the awful night time screaming in the orchard is just a fox, it doesn't bother me anymore.

why is he screaming?

Das ist ja sehr sehr goldig!

They're nice as long as they don't chew the leaves off your plants, and as long as they don't attract a dog's attention at 3:00am so that they cause a commotion and wake their sleeping family. (see my blog from Dec. 10th)

Thea, he is not screaming. Gudrun is holding a camera, not a gun.

Oh wait, you mean the fox? I don't know why they scream, they just do. Sounds terrible!

Gudrun, you lucky one! I guess not many people in the world can see deer when they are looking out of the window while having dinner...! Wow!
