Birds of our Forest

This year we have a lot of Blue Jays at our bird feeders. They are pretty impressive! Unfortunately I can't take close-ups because my camera isn't that great. This is the closest I can zoom in - through the window! - sitting at our dining room table!

oh I love the "real" blue jays, in Oregon we have what are know as scrub jays and stellar jays the scrubs are dirty looling and not bright, the stellar's are bright blue with a strong black crested head much like a cardenal exept blue with a black head.

I think you have done a wonderful job getting close-ups of these blue jays! I would like to have a feeder and attract birds too but i have three cats and cats and birds don't mix well.

I like bird feeders too. We have so many squirrels that they tend to take over.
