What's going on out there?!

We had a huge drop in temperatures, actually up and down with heavy wind! The cats don't even come out of the barn. This is "Genny".
Was ist draussen los?

I think I'm following Wanda around today. Everywhere I comment, Wanda got there first!

Thanks for visiting my blog. That is a very attractive photograph. It would make a nice note card.

By the way, I love that you have part of your post in German. I follow a French blog too. I did 7 years of French in school and only 2 years of German, but I can understand much more German. I think the German classes must have had more useful vocabulary. I also have a German Bible in the High German print.

Well, cats are smart, what can we say? Mostly they soak up heat and energy from sunshine I think. You cat look like ours a lot!

*Es ist ein Ros' entsprungen*... Ich habe eine Gänsehaut bekommen als ich es mir gerade anhörte...

It is apparently not done being crazy, or at least it wasn't last night. I thought the wind would blow forever! We lost power at some point last night but it was back on by the time we got up in the morning.

I don't blame your cats for staying in the barn. I'd just as soon stay inside when the weather is bad too.

Pretty cat. Is she really big or is that a small window?

that is actually a small cat, the barn window is small. Good question though, Kristina!!

Jenny looks cozy to me. I don't blame her for not wanting to come out.

I don't have a lot to say about last year or this new year. Some thoughts...

I hope 2009 will be better than 2008, 2007, and 2006. I do think our government will be inspired by our new President Obama -- at least I hope so.

I would like to see the War in Irag end and I would like to see the killing stop everywhere.

It is my hope that Japan will stop slaughtering whales and raping virgin forests.

And I hope the people will lose their clubs and no longer club baby seals to death.

What a world we have and live in. 2009 could be so much better than it will be.
