Mushrooms in the Little Forest

Mushroom, mushrooms and more mushrooms.... Like I told you before, because of the rain they are growing like crazy here in our woods. They look interesting, don't they? We are eating only two kinds.

In the park in Arcanum where my mother-in-law lives, they have white, perfectly round, mushrooms growing in a line following a tree root underground. These are large as bowling balls and then they taper down to smaller ones the size of a baseball where the root under ground is smaller.

Oh my goodness Gudl, I've never seen mushrooms that big. It's like the ones in the cartoons where a little mouse makes a mushroom it's home.

Did I see a little door in one of those?? ((smile))

It was very hot at the Watermelon Festival...we had a short stay.
