Little Umbrella Plants

Every spring these plants shoot up in some areas of the little forest. Soon they will have flowers, too. I don't know what the name of this plant is but it reminds me of an umbrella and I find it interesting. Does anybody of my readers know the name of these?
(The first photo I added for all the readers who love to see my daughter on her horse ;-)) - that photo is from yesterday, the sun was shining and it was just lovely outside.)

I love the prospect of the second photo, it feels to see a giant tree.

Those little umbrellas are Mayapples. We used to see them in the woods near our house when we were children.

What magical plants! And what a talented photographer you are to have captured them with such a unique perspective.

If I had to name those plants, I'd name them Fairy Trees.
