Another Walk through the Vineyards

This is the view you have when you come back from the hill, from the "Scharfenstein"Ruin. Notice how many people are going for a walk!

St. Valentine Church (Valentinuskirche)

This is the church I was raised in. It is catholic. It origins back to the 13th century. It has the oldest playable organ of Germany in it (from 1500 something) and my father was the organ player for 60 years.

Remember the walk from yesterday? If we would have walked a little further we would have come to this old tower, the ruin of an old castle overlooking the Rhine valley, from the 13th century (I think)

Cross in the Vineyards

In Germany people like to go for walks, just for fun and for exercise. This cross is outside of my hometown in the vineyards. I used to not pay attention to the meaning of it. But that is different now! I honor and love the Lord and I will not walk by without noticing it!

Kiddrich

This is my hometown, it is in the Rhine Valley. It is a village of about 3500 people (here you see only the old part of it) It was founded approx. 1000 years ago. This is where I am right now!!
