Toronto Store Front

Last week our family went to Toronto for a Christmas Trip and we happened to see this store decoration. Actually, every store window had a Christmas/ Winter Scene. It was nice. Can you see us in the reflection of the glass ?
Am letzten Wochenende waren wir in Toronto. Wir wollten in der Weihnachtszeit mal etwas als Familie unternehmen. Das eine Geschaeft hatte alle Fenster mit Weihnachtsszenen dekoriert. Koennt ihr uns im Fenster sehen?

Winter is back

It's already.... over....

Christmas was wonderful...it just was too short! In Germany you have at least two Holidays... we were back to work yesterday! But I am thankful for a nice time spent with family. Now we are between Christmas and New Years, a time the German people call 'between the years'.
Weihnachten war so schoen... nur zu kurz! Es ist schon wieder vorueber! In Deutschland hat man ja wenigstens zwei Feiertage, ... wir waren gestern schon wieder am Arbeiten. Aber ich bin froh u dankbar fuer die schoene Zeit, die wir hatten u mit der Familie verbrachten. Nun sind wir also 'zwischen den Jahren', ein Ausdruck, den man hier nicht benutzt.

Sleepover Party!

Last weekend our daughter had five other girls over for a night. Her annual Christmas Sleepover Party! The girls had a lot of fun!
Am letzten Wochenende hatte unsere Tochter 5 Freundinnen hier zum Uebernachten. Es war ihre jaehrliche Weihnachtsfeier mit Freundinnen. Sie hatten viel Spass.

On Monday we had our Christmas Party for the restaurant staff. It was A LOT of fun (more photos on my facebook)
One of our servers arrived in this dress. We all were so surprised!!
Am Montag hatten wir unsere Weihnachtsfeier fuer unsere Lokal-Angestellten. Es war soo lustig! Eine unserer Bedienungen kam in diesem Kleid! Wir waren alles sehr ueberrascht!!

Hier sind meine zwei "Maedchen". Immer noch hier. Immer noch 'verliebt'... immer noch happy! Gott sei Dank!

It's Christmas Time

YMCA Pool

The Y here in our city opened up a new addition with a new pool this year. That is where I swim and try to stay in shape!! It seems that this time of the year it is getting harder and harder to keep the pounds off!!
In the front is the kiddie pool and in the back is the deep end where I swim.
Unser hiesiges YMCA hat dieses Jahr einen Anbau mit neuem Schwimmbad eroeffnet. Hier schwimme ich u versuche mir die Pfunde vom Leib zu halten!! Im Monat Dezember ist das besonders schwer!
Vorne ist der Kinderpool u hinten ist das tiefe Becken, wo ich immer schwimme.
