Our First Hay!

Yesterday the neighbor down the street brought us our first hay for Daisy-Mae! The barn feels more like a barn now! We also bought all the barn supplies and soon the horse will be brought here. Our daughter is very excited and can hardly wait!

That looks so cool. A barn with hay. As a young girl, I had a friend who lived on a farm, and some of my favorite memories are jumping around on the hay in the loft.
Thanks for a trip down memory lane.

The hay is actually in the 'tack room'. On the left (behind the bars) is the box where the horse will be. The fence was finished yesterday! Now we have to wait until somebody finds the time to trailer the horse here. I hope Daisy-Mae will like her new home!! She is a very timid horse and it will take a while for her to get used to everything.

I do love the barn and I can't wait until Daisy is here. I think Daisy will be ok here, I don't think she will be too afraid. I think she will be fine.

Daisy-Mae? What a clever name for this horse. I like the barn with the hay.

A horse usually eats a lot of hay for winter. It will be interesting to see how many more bales of hay you have to buy before the next summer comes around.

I also watched your house scroll by. You have a nice house and in the woods. It looks very nice.

Thanks for all your visits.

I have good news:

The three baby robins are on their way to Meet the World. I miss them already. It was quite an emotional experience for me.
